I was able to cut the kit steps to what I needed for my Apex Nano RDS213 25 foot travel trailer. The most difficult part was locating the studs for mounting. I sealed it well, and it has been from Virginia to Alaska and back, 11,500 miles last summer. I weigh 180 pounds, and it never gave me any cause to think it would fail as I was climbing to the roof to install and maintain my solar panels and other stuff on the roof.

Just on a year ago I bought a new to me motor home. At that time it did not have a ladder and enquirers revealed that there was a 6 mounts wait time with a price tag over $1000.. So I acquired 2 ladder kits and some attachments and behold the result for about $300.

Clearly a cheap Chinese imitation of the U.S. made item I wanted but was not in stock. The package arrived in good shape for a change. However UPS held the package 20 miles away for three days. Its OK to deliver early like Amazon. etrailer staff was very helpful.

This ladder appears to be quality material. Because it is made to fit a variety of RV's, it takes a little time to size and cut the 3 psc ladder. But once it is sized, seems pretty easy to mount on your RV. And I'll add that etrailer has more RV/trailer parts at a better price than other vendors. That's why I always come first to etrailer and usually find what I need. Great outlfit!

This ladder is not UNIVERSAL , brackets did not line up at all. Fortunately, I had it installed so they used brackets from existing ladder to retrofit.

Like I said, not universal. Has to adjust brackets to lineup. Otherwise very sturdy. Keep in mind will need help installing.

Terrible why was I asked for all the RV info. And I get a universal ladder that didn't fit right and had to so end extra money firbit to work. Even more, I could have been offered replacement parts for the original ladder.which would have saved me more money.

All of our RV ladders are universal fit and may require some modification. We still encourage people to use our fit guide to just be sure if there is any custom fit products for their vehicles. I was initially disappointed that etrailer did not have a black one when I ordered the ladder, so I had to take a unpainted one and paint it myself. This may have been a blessing because my paint looks excellent after a year! Overall, the ladder is fine, however, it’s a little shaky up by the roof mounts…they are not very robust….roof mounts need to be formed with a heavier gage aluminum.

Ladder requires a couple hours to custom fit. Instructions are poor with very limited or no description of parts. Once installed, the ladder is reasonably secure.

I broke my ladder backing into my shed (rookie mistake). I started looking up new ones from the maker of my camper, but didnt have a lot of luck short of calling and asking. I thought, I'd just order this one, because It was cheaper, and I wouldn't be as mad at myself if it didnt fit. Well, I got it in, and the feature if how it coupled meshed so close to mine, I didnt have to remove the top part, which may have made the screws strip. It works flawlessly today as when I installed it a year ago! Thanks, E-trailer!

Solved a problem that no one locally could. It took me a year to find this ladder for my 2000 RV 5th wheel. We bought our RV used last year. The original ladder was on it when we bought it, but the dealer removed the original before delivery to put on another customers RV that was complaining about theirs being broken. We didn't know for a few weeks and it has taken us since then to find this solution. You might want to advertise to RV dealers. (Rockport, TX)

The ladder was quite straightforward to install. I had to make some modifications to my RV to cover up the old holes and accept the new ladder. However it was my choice to improve my RV and not the ladder itself. I would recommend it.

My order was all about a new RV ladder. All I can say is lickity-split. The order went lickity-split, and it arrived lickity-split. If you want it now then with etrailer it is lickity-split.

The services was, as always great. Ordered on Tuesday. Received on Thursday. And free shipping. The product was as advertised. .My only complaint is that the listing could have used more dimensions. It's listed as 97 inches but really about 108 inches from roof to bottom . And you can easily shorten it

I have a 2007 Monaco Diplomate. This ladder is narrower so it doesn't match the existing mounting holes which is a problem for me. I'm going to disassemble the one I purchased and use some parts to repair the original.
